Boston Healthcare welcomes Rob Wenthold as Director
Mr. Wenthold joins the reimbursement practice with over 10 years of experience in healthcare consulting.  Most recently he was a Senior Associate at Covance, where he worked with clients to assess public and private payer markets for novel technologies in a range of care settings including hospital, office and home care / OTC segments. In addition, he developed market access strategies for drug and diagnostic companies.  Mr. Wenthold first entered health care consulting in 1997 as a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he designed and implemented business processes to optimize third party reimbursement for health systems. Prior to entering consulting, he spent 5 years working in an anatomic pathology lab as an Intramural Training Research Award fellow at the National Institutes of Health.  His experience working with emerging technologies spans many clinical areas including oncology, diabetes, osteoporosis, nephrology, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and bone marrow transplant.  Mr. Wenthold holds an MS in Public Health from Tulane University and a BS in Biology from James Madison University. 

Boston Healthcare Welcomes Michael Bragin as Director
Mr. Bragin joins the business development practice with over 7 years of experience. In his prior positions as a member of the finance, marketing and business development teams at PDLBioPharma and Bone Care International, he provided strategic insight, market analyses & assessment, and transaction structure modeling as well as financial valuation. Over the course of his in-house business development & strategic planning experiences with these companies, Mr. Bragin participated in the closing of over $1 billion in strategic transactions and played an intricate role in identifying external product and corporate targets for in-licensing and M&A activity, as well as in evaluating strategic partnership opportunities for internal products and product candidates. Prior to his in-house business development experiences, Mr. Bragin spent over 3 years in CIBC World Markets’ Healthcare Investment Banking division.  Working initially out CIBC’s Menlo Park offices and, later, out of offices in Syndney, Australia, he helped execute over $1.3 billion in financing, M&A and strategic advisory transactions for life sciences companies. Mr. Bragin holds an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, as well as MA and BA degrees from Northwestern University and the University of California at Berkeley, respectively.

Boston Healthcare Welcomes Gina Ford, RPh, MBA as Executive Director
Ms. Ford joins the reimbursement practice with 15 years of health care experience. Most recently she was Senior Director of Reimbursement for a specialty pharmaceutical company where she led field teams to create favorable payer policies and internal hotline teams to best practice claims management. In addition, her leadership resulted in the commercial launch of two specialty products through the development and implementation of payer strategy across multiple payer segments.

Prior to entering the specialty pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Ford was a clinical pharmacist and served as the Executive Director for the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists, responsible for the implementation of the pharmaceutical compounding section of the FDA Modernization Act of 1997 in collaboration with Congress and FDA.

In 2000, Ms. Ford received Drug Topics Magazine's "Pharmacist of the Year" award recognizing her contributions to women's health care and design of a novel distribution network in menopause management.
