Michael Bragin
Director

Mr. Bragin has over 7 years of experience in life sciences strategic advisory and business development. In his prior positions as a member of the finance, marketing and business development teams at PDLBioPharma and Bone Care International, he provided strategic insight, market analyses & assessment, and transaction structure modeling as well as financial valuation. Over the course of his in-house business development & strategic planning experiences with these companies, Mr. Bragin participated in the closing of over $1 billion in strategic transactions and played an intricate role in identifying external product and corporate targets for in-licensing and M&A activity, as well as in evaluating strategic partnership opportunities for internal products and product candidates. Prior to his in-house business development experiences, Mr. Bragin spent over 3 years in CIBC World Markets’ Healthcare Investment Banking division. Working initially out CIBC’s Menlo Park offices and, later, out of offices in Syndney, Australia, he helped execute over $1.3 billion in financing, M&A and strategic advisory transactions for life sciences companies. Mr. Bragin holds an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, as well as MA and BA degrees from Northwestern University and the University of California at Berkeley, respectively.
